Steppes Hill Farm Antiques Newsletter #1 - June 2011
Welcome to the very first Steppes Hill Farm Antiques Newsletter which I hope will assist you to keep up to speed with any developments or new acquisitions that we get here at the farm. The plan is to produce these on a regular monthly basis so I do hope you will find it of interest.

It comes at quite an appropriate time as it coincides with the news that Steppes Hill Farm Antiques has just been awarded the title of 'Dealer of the Month' by Online Galleries - The Antique Portal.

I was excited to locate this months 'Featured Item'; a fine quality George IV silver gilt Snuff Box with striking enamelled Coat of Arms, in particular because they are the arms are of our local Kentish Cinque Port of Dover.

Other recent finds include a rare Early Worcester Peacock Coffee Cup & Saucer, a small collection of novelty silver Pencils, a Dr Wall Worcester press moulded Teacup & Saucer, and a very rare set of three novelty silver Menu Holders in the form of Mr Punch, Judy & Dog Toby.

In the pipeline we are hopeful of acquiring a small private collection of silver Wine Labels.

As far as upcoming events are concerned, we are thrilled to be able to announce that in conjunction with Christopher Buck Antiques, we are conducting a selling exhibition in the sumptuous setting of the Godmersham Park Mansion, Godmersham, Nr. Canterbury, Kent CT4 7DT.

Over the weekend of Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th August 2011, we will be occupying some of the main reception rooms of this magnificent and historically important manor house and furnishing them with beautiful antiques of a befitting style and period.

I do hope that you will find this Newsletter informative and helpful and will allow us send it to you on a regular basis. I would welcome any feedback you may have, both positive and negative.
