A very fine quality William IV silver gilt Vinaigrette of flat rounded rectangular form, the base with foliate scroll decoration on a matt background and applied with a vacant gold cartouche. The lid cast with a pair of swans swimming on a lake with reeds in the background, all within a raised moulded border of scrolls and leaves. The silver gilt grille pierced with scrolls and a single flower head.
