A rare Victorian silver Gentleman's Compendium or Combination Tool of plain rounded rectangular form, consisting of a Whistle at one end, a Vesta Case with steel striking plate to the other end opening to reveal a compartment for a spare taper (included). A silver slider to each side, one for a slow burning taper the other for a propelling pencil.
