A rare Victorian silver Vinaigrette of shaped rectangular form, the base and sides with engine turned decoration and a vacant cartouche. The lid engraved with a scene depicting Old Balmoral Castle and lands with small buildings against hills and a rayed sky within a decorative border. The silver gilt grille bordered and crossed to form four triangles each pierced with a scrolling frond.
