A rare Victorian novelty silver Vesta Case made in the form of a Policeman's Bulls Eye Lantern, with clip and handles to the reverse, the body chased with exotic birds amongst foliage, a hinged cover to the base opening to reveal the gilded vesta compartment. The lens with three coloured backgrounds (red, green and clear), changed by rotating the base section.
