An unrecorded early Worcester bell shaped Mug with notched grooved strap handle, brilliantly painted in polychrome enamels in Chinese famille rose and famille verte palettes and depicting two long tailed birds in foliage, encapsulating the Banded Hedge and Wheatsheaf pattern, the strap handle picked out in iron red enamel.
Unmarked c1754.
