An unusual Victorian Scottish silver Snuff Box of shaped cartouche form, engraved with foliate scrolls and flower heads, the base with inset polished Scottish hardstone panel, the lid inset with an unpolished moss agate panel carved with Celtic motifs, silver gilt interior and raised floral thumb-piece.
