A magnificent large and heavy gauge William IV Scottish silver Soup Ladle, of fiddle and thread variant pattern with a die-struck crest to the handle depicting a demi-goat saliant sa., gorged with a wreath of laurel ppr, above a helm and mantling, probably for Bartholomew of Glasgow.
