An extremely fine,rare and unusual Victorian silver mounted Dip Pen, with an unusual sliding mechanism to extend the nib with a knurled slide ring. The silver barrel superbly engraved with foliate scrolls on a reeded background, the tapered tortoiseshell shaft inset with fine foliate silver pique work and a rectangular cartouche engraved - 'Emma'. Complete with Francis Mordan 5 shilling gold nib.
