A rare pair of Victorian electroplated silver Bottle Collar Wine Labels, of large diameter and flared circular form with single line borders, pierced twice for Dry Port and Fruity Port and engraved with the crests of The Ironmongers Livery Company depicting two erect Salamanders or Lizards collared and chained together.
Unmarked c1852. Probably by Emes & Barnard who supplied 24 of these to the Ironmongers Company in 1852.
