An extremely fine and very rare pair of Crown Porcelain Derby Reticulated Bottle shape Vases on ivory ground with gilt rims, painted with a continuous band of naturalistic exotic birds.
Blue mark. c1878.
The shape illustrated and described as 'rare' in 'Royal Crown Derby', by John Twitchett & Betty Bailey, page 131 (see scan).
