A very rare George III silver Vinaigrette of plain rounded rectangular form, the base and sides with prick-dot engraved decoration, the lid engraved with a scene depicting a Woodcutter smoking a pipe with a dog at his heals. The silver gilt interior with intricately pierced grille including a basket of fruit.
