A good George III silver Vinaigrette of rounded rectangular form, the base with prick dot engraved border and vacant oval cartouche. The lid engraved with bands of prick dot and bright-cut engraved roundels, the legend "L'Amitie" (good wishes / friendship) to a central band with reeded background, the silver gilt interior with a hinged faux filigree type grille with beaded border.
