A rare George III silver Vinaigrette of rounded rectangular form with engine turned decoration, the cover with a circular monogrammed cartouche, the silver gilt interior with a finely pierced and engraved grille depicting various military paraphernalia including a cannon and drums and two Union flags. Possibly made to celebrate Wellington's victories 1811 - 1812 in Portugal and Spain.
