A rare George III Scottish Provincial silver Wine Label of rounded crescent form with prick-dot and wriggle work engraved border, incised for Sherry.
Makers mark only: 'CJ', probably for Charles Jamieson of Inverness, c1800.
NB: This maker has not previously been recorded on a Wine Label but the mark is quite distinctive with a ""fat tail"" to the base of the the letter J.
