James Hyde, London 1797
Photo 1 of 5
An extremely rare George III Armorial silver Sauce Label of circular "button shape" with double reeded border, incised for Soy above an armorial crest.
By James Hyde, London, 1797.
The crest of a cubit arm vested holding in the hand an arrow in bend point down, is possibly that of the Harrison family.
See: Sauce Labels by John Salter, page 143, photo 51 for a similar example for Lemon.
