A good George I silver Mote Spoon, the plain tapering handle with diamond point finial, the narrow oval rat-tail bowl pierced with scrolls and serifs. The bowl engraved with contemporary owners initials 'V T'.
Makers mark only - 'N O' possibly for William Noyes, London c1718 (see : Grimwade page 314).
