A fine quality late 19th century French silver gilt and enamel Vesta Case of rectangular form with shaped sprung hinged lid, four of the exterior surfaces with enamelled decoration, the cover depicting two topless women fighting a dual, after the famous French oil painting by Emile Bayard - ""An Affair of Honor"". The base depicting a buxom lady in black dress leaning against a fence. The interior with blue enamel landscape scene to the interior lid.
