A fine and rare First Period Worcester shaped circular Sweetmeat Dish with scallop ring, moulded in the Blind Earl style with a twisted rose bud handle, painted in a mid tone of under-glaze blue with rose leaves, the veins clearly picked out together with the buds and knarls twig handle, all within three different insects and a lady bird. THe Blind Earl pattern (IE48 in BFS Worcester blue and white porcelain).
Open crescent mark, c1765.
