Edwardian Silver & Mother of Pearl Combined Folding Fruit Knife & Fork

A good quality Edwardian silver and mother of pearl combined Folding Fruit Knife and Fork with mother of pearl handles and of a patented design. The two slotting together with keyhole shaped recesses on one side and a pair of corresponding lugs on the other. The fork with three tines, rather than the more usual two, has to be partly opened for the two to be taken apart or put back together.
