A very fine quality and rare early 20th century 18 carat gold and enamel Vesta Case of flat rounded rectangular form with sprung hinged lid and attached suspension ring, the face enameled with four of man's vices ("Mes Vis(screws)" - "My Vices") Women, drink, gambling and horse racing. The lid with cabochon sapphire catch.

Import marks for Murrle Bennett & Co, London 1904.

In good condition with no damage or repair, a tiny loss of enamel to the bottom of one of the screws.
