An extremely fine quality and rare Edwardian 18 carat gold Cigarette Case of rounded rectangular form with sprung opening mechanism. The base with intricate engine turned and bright-cut engraved decoration. The cover with a shaped cartouche enamelled with a view of The Houses of Parliament across the River Thames, surrounded by enamelled scrolls and arabesques in dark blue and green.
