A very fine quality early Victorian silver mounted tortoiseshell Propelling Pencil with inlaid silver pique decoration and silver flower head slider button. The propelling pencil with reinforced nib, the silver finial set with an amethyst coloured stone.
Unmarked, but almost certainly by Josh Butler, London, c1840.
