A good mid Victorian silver Table Vesta Case or ""Go to Bed"", of plain rectangular form with all-over engine turned decoration, the lid with circular cartouche engraved with eagle crest. The interior with compartment for matches, a sharks-skin striking panel and a hinged fold-out candle. Complete with original silk and velvet lined leather case.
