A very fine quality novelty silver gilt Propelling Pencil, made in the form of a butter knife, the blade finely engraved to both sides with birds and foliage and a fan in the aesthetic style, the pencil emerging from the leaf capped pistol grip handle on a sliding mechanism. Complete with silk and velvet lined fitted leather retailers case.
