A superb Cased set of 4 George III silver and steel Shoe Buckles with matching Breeches Buckles, formed from rows of interlocking flower heads, the Shoe Buckles with sprung steel opening mechanisms and stamped Left & Right.
By James Atkins, London 1815. Marked with duty mark, date letter, lion passant and maker's marks.
Shoe Buckles 60 mm x 45 mm.
Breeches Buckles 22 mm x 20 mm.
