A fantastic quality Victorian silver gilt mounted red ruby glass double Scent Bottle, of heart shaped form, the two compartments allowing for different scents to be kept in the same bottle. The very fine foliate scroll engraved mounts with two hinged lids revealing original glass stoppers, the collar also engraved with a diamond Registration Mark for the 1st September 1858. This registration date is also (unusually) stamped to the base along with the makers name S Mordan & Co.

Condition
In fine condition with just very minor chips to one glass stopper and the interior glass collar, the same silver collar with some minor scratches and damage. (See photographs).
