An extremely fine and rare Victorian gold Dip Pen with shaped ivory shaft and large magnum bonham barrel type gold nib finely engraved with foliate scrolls.
Stamped: F. Mordan above a Crown and London 115235.
Complete with original silk and velvet lined Morocco leather case.
The Magnum Bonham barrel nibbed gold pens were the most expensive and desirable gold pens produced by Francis Mordan costing 2 guineas at the time.
