A rare late 19th century German novelty .800 standard silver and enamel Vesta Case, made in the form of a wooden cigar box, with enamel decoration to the top and sides simulating the labels, featuring a sunburst reading Sol Habana, a scene of the setting sun over Cuba, and a sun surrounded by floral decorations, and HABANEROS & FLOR FINA in black enamel to the sides. An inset striker to the base. The hinged lid opening to a gilded interior.
