A fine quality late 19th century American hammered silver Vesta Case in the Arts & Crafts style, of rectangular form with hinged flip-top lid and silver gilt interior. Applied with raised sycamore leaf and parcel gilt sycamore seed. The face engraved with Chinese characters and the date 1882.
