A fine quality Victorian silver Trick Opening Vesta Case of plain rectangular form with striker plate to one end and two separate internal compartments. On initial inspection the gilded interior contains nothing when opened, the ingenious hidden interior compartment containing the matches can only be released when the sprung slide to one end is held down.
