A rare Victorian silver castle-top Vinaigrette of large size and shaped rectangular form, the base and sides engraved with folaite scroll decoration and a shaped cartouche engraved with contemporary initials. The cover engraved with a scene depicting Gloucester Cathedral within a border with stylised leaves to each corner. The silver gilt front opening grille pierced with scrolling leaves.
