An extremely rare Victorian silver castle-top Vinaigrette of shaped oblong form, the base with engine turned decoration and a patera within a garter, the cover engraved with a scene depicting Durham Castle Keep and Quadrangle within a border. The silver gilt grille pierced with folaite scrolls.
