A particularly fine George III Nelson Memorial Vinaigrette of large size and very fine quality, the cover engraved with a portrait of Horatio, Lord Nelson on a linear ground within an oval frame bearing his famous message; ""ENGLAND EXPECTS EVERY MAN WILL DO HIS DUTY"", all within a rectangular frame with stippled background. The silver gilt interior with hinged pierced grille cast with a depiction of H.M.S. Victory and ""TRAFALGAR OCTr 21.1805"". The base engraved with a foliate patera.
