A fine and rare George III Irish silver Butter Spade with shaped triangular blade, the silver stem with feather edge border and shell terminal, a finely turned green stained ivory handle. The blade engraved with a crest of a bishop's mitre and an initial F, possibly for Fawcett of Ireland.
Dublin, c1780. The makers mark rubbed but possibly that of Michael Keating ?

Condition
In good condition with no damage or repair, the green ivory handle with no cracks or splits just very slightly loose in the mount.
