A very fine First Period Worcester Butter Tub, Cover and Stand with scrolled lug handles, the cover with open floral knop, printed in under-glaze blue with the three flowers pattern (IIC19 in Worcester blue and white porcelain). Depicting large foliate sprays and flying moths all within a cell border.
Enclosed crescent marks c1770 - 1775.
